At Privé, privacy is not a feature — it is the entire foundation of what we built. This policy explains what we collect (nothing) and how your data is protected (completely).
Privé collects no personal data. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts, notes, or any content stored in your vault. The app operates entirely on your device with no communication to our servers.
All vault content is stored locally on your device using AES-256 encryption — the same standard used by financial institutions and government agencies. We have no access to your data, cannot recover it, and cannot be compelled to produce it because we simply do not have it.
Privé does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tools. The only third-party service used is Apple's App Store for payment processing of Pro subscriptions, which is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you purchase Privé Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We receive only a confirmation of your purchase status — never your payment information, card details, or billing address.
Privé does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review their children's app usage.
Because we collect no data, there is no data to breach on our end. Your vault content is encrypted on your device before storage. Your PIN is never transmitted, never stored in plaintext, and never accessible to anyone other than you.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Privé after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
